🇬🇧 Study in United Kingdom

The destination most of our students choose, and for good reason

The United Kingdom remains the first choice for a majority of the students we place, and it is easy to see why. Degrees are shorter, so you save a year of tuition and living costs. The Graduate Route lets you stay and work for two years after you finish. And for Pakistani students, the UK feels familiar and welcoming, with large, established communities in almost every city.

Why the UK works so well for Pakistani students

A UK bachelor's degree usually takes three years and a master's just one, compared with four and two in many other countries. That shorter length is not a shortcut in quality, it simply reflects a more focused structure, and it can save your family a very large amount of money.

The UK also has deep ties with Pakistan. You will rarely feel alone, halal food and prayer facilities are easy to find, and universities are used to supporting international students well. For a first time abroad, that support matters.

  • Three-year bachelor's and one-year master's degrees save time and money
  • The Graduate Route gives two years of post-study work, three for PhDs
  • Globally respected degrees recognised everywhere, including back home
  • Large, settled Pakistani communities in London, Manchester, Birmingham and beyond
  • Strong university support systems for international students

What it really costs, in rupees

Costs vary by city and university, and London is noticeably more expensive than the rest of the country. The figures below are indicative annual ranges to help you plan, not fixed quotes. We give you exact numbers for your specific shortlist during your assessment.

CostPer year (GBP)Roughly in PKR
Tuition, undergraduate£11,000 to £20,000PKR 3.9m to 7.1m
Tuition, postgraduate£13,000 to £25,000PKR 4.6m to 8.9m
Living, outside London£9,000 to £12,000PKR 3.2m to 4.3m
Living, in London£13,000 to £16,000PKR 4.6m to 5.7m

Choosing the right city can save you a fortune

Two students on the same course can have very different total costs depending on the city. We factor living costs into every recommendation, because the sticker price of tuition is only half the story.

Universities where our students study

Our students hold offers and places at a wide range of UK universities. Names our families will recognise include the University of West London and the University of Westminster, where students we guided are studying right now, along with partners like Aston University and the University of Hull.

We match you to universities that fit your grades and budget, from well-known research institutions to strong modern universities with excellent employability. The right UK university for you is the one where you will get in, afford it, finish it and launch a career, not simply the most famous name on the list.

The Graduate Route and working after study

The Graduate Route is one of the UK's biggest attractions. After completing your degree you can stay and work, or look for work, for two years, or three years after a PhD, without needing a job offer first. It is a genuine runway to build a career and, for some, a longer-term future.

During your studies you can usually work up to twenty hours a week in term time and full time in holidays. That helps with living costs, though we always advise students not to rely on part-time work to fund tuition. Your studies must come first, and the visa rules are strict about hours.

Student visa, prepared honestly

The UK Student visa requires a confirmed place, proof that you can pay your tuition and living costs, and evidence that your finances have been held for the required period. The financial rules on amount and timing are precise, and small mistakes cause most refusals. This is exactly where our visa support earns its keep.

  • A confirmed offer and Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies
  • Tuition plus set living costs held for the required number of days
  • Correct, consistent financial evidence with no last-minute surprises
  • English ability shown through IELTS or an accepted alternative
  • A tuberculosis test certificate, required for applicants from Pakistan

Intakes and when to start

The main intake is September, with a smaller January intake at many universities and some September starts. Applications open many months ahead, and the strongest scholarships and smoothest visa timelines belong to students who start early. For a September start, we like students to begin the year before where possible.
